New Vintage Slide Lampshade
Here is another one of my lampshades using a different kind of slide that my lovely friend, Carol Rosenthal found on ebay. They are 2.5″ vintage slides with glass plating and metal encasings. Up until now, I’ve been using the 35mm slides with cardboard encasings so, this was a fun new experience. New Handmade Slide Lampshade
Spent 3 days at home on coffee during the holidays and put this puppy together. My new slide lampshade. The slides come from my friend, Eric who found them in a thrift store in Boston. Apparently they are back from 1978 during a rock climbing trip in Switzerland. I’ve made two slide lampshades before, but since then I’ve improved my technique and now my only inclination is to redo the others. Stay tuned…
